Cheese Cutting

Aimed specifically at the cheese processing industry, we can provide complete solutions or replacement tooling for existing systems for cutting & portioning of cheese products.

Because cheeses are manufactured in a multitude of sizes and weights, each machine can be individually designed to accommodate a particular product dimensions. The physical properties of any cheese is a very important factor also and we can offer cutting systems to suit products that are hard or soft and with different textures such as re-formed, extruded cheeses with fruit or other ingredients added.

Our safe, hygienic, reliable and accurate cutting systems can be integrated with many packaging and conveyor systems or they can operate autonomously and utilise automated systems to reduce cycle times and improve productivity.

We also manufacture other cutting systems for dicing cheese and other products, these are available as manually operated cutters for low volume requirements

Ring Cutting

When faced with the natural variations in cheese product sizes, the route to consistent portion cutting starts with accurate and repeatable dividing of the whole cheese into ‘rings’ of known thickness
Coring

By producing a small hole or core in the centre of a cheese, this aids accurate wedge portioning when using a wire frame system and also provides a uniform appearance of the wedge after cutting by eliminating tearing of the ‘nose’ of the wedge giving an aesthetically improved product appearance
Portioning
